Cooperation with UNESCO will continue in the form of planning for national tourism development, Director General of Tourism Planning and Development Ali Reza Rahimi said.
Rahimi made the remarks via a video contact with the UNESCO representative in Tehran Cvetan Cvetkovski.
The cooperation which had been postponed due to coronavirus outbreak will continue, he added.
Within the framework of the joint tourism development plan, UNESCO is to coordinate between international advisors and investors, said the official, adding that “The project will also enjoy cooperation from UN World Tourism Organization on technical issues.”
Iran with its rich civilization enjoys a big number of natural tourist attraction sites and very picturesque landscapes which are good destinations for foreign tourists.
