Asian Continental Championship 2018 was held on December 9-18.

The Iranian outfit took part in nine rounds of competition at the 2018 World Youth Under-16 Chess Olympiad, winning six of them against Romania, Slovakia, China, Serbia, Belarus and the United States, and conceding defeat in the other three rounds against Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and India.

The international event was organized by Turkish Chess Federation (TCF), held in the Turkish city of Konya from November 25 to December 2.

Uzbekistan won the championship, followed by India, China, Belarus, and Iran in the second to fifth places, respectively.
