Leader: Iran to Continue Resistance against Arrogant Powers

TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei lauded the Iranian nation's resistance against the pressures and plots hatched by the enemies of the Islamic Republic, and stressed that the country will continue resistance against hegemonic and oppressive powers in future.

"Thousands of media and hundreds of brains and thoughts are continuously propagating and plotting against the Islamic establishment through the most modern propaganda methods and various tricks, but they have thus far been unable to harm the system because the strength of this system is rooted in its faith and divine structure," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing commanders, officers, pilots and personnel of the Iranian Army's Air Force here in Tehran on Monday.

"Today, the Islamic system is unrivaled in standing strong against the heavy load of false and destructive propaganda and political and economic pressures and sanctions," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

The leader underlined that the Islamic ruling system would continue resistance against all such pressures, and added, "And the US, Zionism and all bullying and arrogant powers of the world will not be able to shake this Revolution even a little bit either by the help of their political and economic means or through threats and accusations and seducing their agents and proxies."

The Leader further lambasted western claims about defending democracy and human rights in the world, and reminded West's frequent alliances with the most autocratic and tyrannical governments in the Middle-East and Northern Africa.
